FAQ
Revere Charitable Fund for Neighborhood Action
Our main focus of support are Philadelphia-area 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations involved with affordable and safe housing (temporary and permanent), children and youth (to age 25), and immigrant rights. From time to time, we also support 501(c)(3) organizations involved with animal welfare, food insecurity, and other worthy causes.
We mainly support charities operating within the city limits of Philadelphia, and occasionally in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Springfield counties in Pennsylvania, and Camden and Burlington counties in New Jersey.
We believe that the people closest to the challenge are best equipped to address it. Whenever possible, we support local non-profits run by people bringing hope and aid to their own neighbors.

At present, our average grant is $500-$1000.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a financial account which is used exclusively for charitable giving to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Contributions to a DAF fund are irrevocable, and allow the donor to take an immediate tax deduction in the year of donation. The funds are then invested according to the rules of the sponsoring charitable organization and the direction of the fund’s owner. The fund’s owner then is able to recommend grants and distributed funds in the DAF to qualifying charities over time.
